Project

Brinkley Homes has been developing and building quality homes in Yorkshire and the North East of England for over 30 years. For one of their more recent developments in Belton, near Doncaster, they wanted to look at different options for their central heating system. The development consisted of four and five bedroom detached properties aimed at the luxury end of the housing market. The 29 houses are situated on a green field site, and each has a unique and individual appearance based on classic architecture and period styles.

Solution

To reflect the uniqueness of these properties and to improve their marketability, Brinkley wanted to increase the premium look and feel of the houses. Therefore, they turned to Polyplumb and installed products from their range of floor heating, including both a floating ground floor system and a suspended first floor system. The installation of floor heating also allowed the team flexibility in the building schedule, and meant there was no need to remove recently fixed radiators to paint behind. Brinkley Homes discovered that installation was both simpler, and less expensive, than they had initially perceived. The properties include separate ground and first floor control zones, allowing buyers the ability to individually control the temperature on both floors.

Brinkley Homes has found that Polyplumb floor central heating is an efficient and effective form of heat, which provides new levels of comfort, child safety, cleanliness and design freedom. Whatever type of development youre working on, whether its a riverside apartment or a four bedroom detached property, at Polyplumb weve got the floor heating solution for you. We have a comprehensive range of traditional floor central heating systems, which work with all types of flooring bases - perfect for new build developments. Floor heating will provide your potential buyers with more design freedom, without having to take account of unsightly radiators, allowing them to organise the room they want to.
